Lois Grasso, Founder/Director

At the age of 15, Lois experienced a sudden awakening. She became determined to overcome the intense pain and self-consciousness she was feeling, and be the kind of person who could maintain healthy, loving relationships and make a difference in the world. She soon became vigorously involved in a wide variety of practices, activities and programs designed for personal growth, health, and spiritual development, including: A wide variety of “schools” of Conscious Breathwork; Rolfing; Firewalking; Polarity Therapy; A Course In Miracles; Reiki; Non-traditional Psychotherapy; Imago Couples Therapy; EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques); Theta Healing and various forms of “prosperity training”.

Lois has been engaged in various aspects of the business world since 1981, when she began her sales career in the automobile market. Always an innovator, she initiated and executed the formation of a Leasing Department at the dealership. Over the next 20 years, she acquired one or more years of experience in each of the following occupations: Radio Advertising sales & copywriting, Real Estate sales and sales management. Later beginning her life as an entrepreneur she excelled at creating R.E. sales support publications (soliciting sponsorships, page layout, copywriting, and agent training). For ten years, her natural talent for writing, editing and graphic design, were utilized in the field of publishing, in which she produced a book and two health-oriented newsmagazines: Horizons Magazine of Farmington, CT, and later as owner and publisher of The Self-Health Networker.

Lois was an official Connecticut candidate for US Senate in 1998. She also managed the campaign for other candidates on the fledgling “Term Limits Party" ticket. She has since spent many hours circulating official petitions and managing petition drive campaigns in Massachusetts, Utah and Connecticut.

By the age of 40, Lois had realized her original goal and was leading a healthy, prosperous and joyful life, filled with healthy relationships. She now experiences great pleasure in supporting those who intend to eliminate stress, build inner strength and create meaningful, joyful lives for themselves.

Working primarily with the PowerTools™ of conscious breathing, Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), Body-oriented therapy and Thought Management techniques, Lois maintains a private practice in West Hartford, CT. A naturally-gifted, well-trained and engaging speaker, she loves to give seminars and trainings on a variety of health and stress-related topics, at government agencies, corporations, churches, hospitals and community service organizations. She also travels internationally to give workshops and retreats.

Extensive Training in Conscious Breathwork

Lois attended her first Rebirthing weekend workshop in 1981. Astonished by the benefits, she began exploring various Conscious Breathing methods. Her offerings are a culmination of learning from teachers and mentors, including: Leonard Orr, who helped launch her full-time breathwork career in early 2002; Judith Kravitz, founder of Transformational Breath™; Dan Brule', international Breath Therapy™ trainer and founder of BreathMastery.com; Mike White, Founder of Optimal Breathing™ and Breathing.com; Valnn Dayne, founder of Ecstasy Breathing™; Kamala Renner, founder of DoveStar Institute and the HeartBreath Method™; Lynn Martin, who teaches Breathing Coordination™ (the late Karl Stough's technique - popular with musicians and COPD patients), and ascended master Swami Rama, founder of the Himalayan Institute and co-author of The Science Of Breath.

While training for Transformational Breath™ certification in 1998, Lois capitalized, researched, edited and published Dr. Judith Kravitz’ book, Breathe Deep, Laugh Loudly; The Joy of Transformational Breathing.
