Steve Barrett

Steven Barrett, LMT, is a Licensed Massage Therapist who graduated from CT Center for Massage Therapy in 1996, and has been employed at the Foxwoods Spa since 1999. A lifelong student of personal and spiritual development, he has experienced and explored many modalities and healing approaches. Among his favorites are EFT (aka Emotional Freedom Techniques or AcuTapping), Bowen Therapy, Heart Math and Transformational Breathwork. He is known throughout Connecticut for his inspirational workshops based on Eckhart Tolle's book, The Power of Now. Steven's strong desire to assist others in overcoming physical and emotional pain, motivated him to develop BAM Therapy, a powerful combination of Breathwork, AcuTapping, and Massage.



Karen Kathryn Keefe, Ph.D.

Karen Kathryn Keefe, Ph.D. holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Development, and a Ph.D. in Naturology. Her strong passion to help others achieve their full potential has resulted in extensive experience in professional development, training and adult learning. She is an internationally acclaimed consultant for Fortune 500 companies, specializing in high-performance organizations and team effectiveness.

Karen is certified as a Holistic Educator, a Transformational Breath(tm) Facilitator and Master Trainer, and has been initiated as both a Usui Shiki Ryoho and Raku Ki Reiki Master. Karen is also certified in Emotional Intelligence and Style Profile tools, music and imagery therapy, nutritional herbology, constitutional analysis, attitudinal healing and health consulting.

A holistic educator and practitioner for over 20 years, Karen's vision is a creative harmony of natural healing approaches and the awakening of our ability to regenerate mind and body to realize our fullest potential.



scott kwiatkowski

Scott Kwiatkowski, D.O."Dr. Scott's" specialty is in functional anatomy (how the body works and how it becomes diseased) and hands-on manipulative treatments for restoring good health. He attended Potsdam College and was awarded a degree in Honors Psychology, a research intensive program emphasizing neuro-anatomy.

He later worked for the University of New York at Albany, where he assisted a team researching neurotransmitters in the brain and retina. Immediately prior to medical school, he attended Stillpoint Center for Massage and became a licensed massage therapist. During the training, he studied extensively in the areas of functional anatomy, myology, and kinesiology.

He obtained his medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998, and worked at St. Barnabas Hospital, Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. Upon completion of his residency, he became certified as a specialist in the fields of Neuro-Musculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulation.




donna packard

Donna L. Packard, M.Ed., CTF has been teaching people to breathe fully for the past nine years and has been coaching people to live their dreams for 20 years.

She has developed and facilitated numerous state-of-the-art motivational programs throughout New England, as well as programs in stress management, sound healing, self-esteem building, communication skills, breathwork and personal growth.

Donna has done extensive work in the field of alcohol/drug rehabilitation. She has developed violence prevention programs for schools, and has trained pre-school through adult educators, parents, health and human service workers and business professionals. Donna was certified as a Professional Breathwork Facilitator originally at The International Breathwork Institute and later by the Transformational Breath Foundation.
